“L’altra metà’ (The other half): Return to the set with a new short film in Abruzzo. We are searching for actors and technicians

After ‘Sarah’, a short film shot entirely in Cefalù in the evocative atmosphere of Sicily and ‘Arthur Hotel’, an urban fairy tale set in a pompous Milan (making history with 20 international awards earned just 6 months after its release), director Luigi D’ Angelo returns to work on another project in collaboration with actors Nicola Di Carlo, Edoardo Di Vincenzo, Ludovico Noia and Alice Valdes. The new short film, ‘L’altra metà’ (The Other Half), will be filmed in Pescara on July 29, 30th, 31st, and August 1st, will be produced by Lucas A. Ferrara, a New York jurist with a passion for cinema, awarded as one of the best 100 lawyers in New York in the “top 100 recognition” and already one of the producers of ‘Sarah’ and ‘Arthur Hotel’.

The events narrated take place in the house of one of the two protagonists, a now elderly artist working on finishing her last creation. Her past and present will intertwine with those of a young painter in search for answers.

Casting is officially open and selections will continue through July 3, 2021. For the production we are looking for:
