Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo on TV with “Se questa è un’infanzia”

In the context of the project “Art Doesn’t Stop”, the Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo brings Se questa è l’infanzia (If This Is Childhood) to television, in collaboration with the festival “Il Fiume e la Memoria.” The work is inspired by the book "La memoria rende liberi" (Memory Makes You Free) by Liliana Segre and Enrico Mentana. The text is by Milo Vallone and Luca Pompei, directed and acted by Milo Vallone with accordionist Vincenzo De Ritis.

The show will air Thursday, April 29 at 8:30pm on Rete 8 and Sunday, May 2 at 6:00pm on LAQTV.

An emotional story about one of the most tragic periods of the last century, the piece invites the audience to keep their eyes open when presented with the mistakes of the past and present: “the key to understanding how evil operates is indifference: when you think something doesn’t affect you, then there is no limit to the horror.”
